How are you?

I hope and pray you and your loved ones are well and all are staying healthy during this God Global reset.

We spend the majority of our time and energy focused on external stuff like money, titles, our job, cars, houses, school, saving for college, golf, tennis, vacations and accumulation of stuff. We all do it.

I don’t know about you, but the first two weeks of SIP’n was really hard for me...I was irritable. I couldn’t overcome the anxiousness and urge go out and make stuff happen. I felt this constant compulsion to get out there and do something... anything. Then I’d remember I can’t do anything expect hunker down like the rest of the world. I was like a caged animal and not easy for my family to be around.

Then after a week or so, acceptance finally started to set in. I gradually stopped focusing on all the outside stuff that got taken away and I couldn’t do. Instead I started focusing the stuff on the inside.

This last month has been a great time to clean up the inside of houses, cars, closets, garages...but most importantly, the inside of me.

I don’t know about you but I have thought and prayed about my Faith, Family and Friends more in the last few weeks than probably any time in my life. I have spent more time with Lynn and my boys than anytime since Tommy and Nick were born. I have seen and talked to my mom and dad more than ever...via FaceTime and Zoom of course...and I’m doing zoom meetings and texting with family and friends to support, encourage and show our love for one another.

Yes stuff got taken away but I believe this is by design to shake some sense into us. It’s a God Global reset to do exactly what he is doing to me. I hope it is happening to you too.

Stuff is not the answer...Faith, Family and Friends are the answer.

Have Faith...things will be okay and we will get our stuff back soon enough. In the meantime, focus on your Faith, loving your Family & Friends and enjoy the blessings of SIP’n.
