He founded an amazing company with a partner. He built it into one of the most innovative companies in the world…only to be walked out the door because they thought he was too radical and reckless, and they could not control him. We all know what happened after that. Steve Jobs was brought back to Apple, and it ended up becoming the first company in history to hit a market cap of over one trillion dollars.
Last week was one of the most crazy and exhilarating weeks of my career. It was a David vs Goliath type of week. In the end, I battled and I fought for those I cared about and for what I thought was right to protect my peeps. I let my passion get the best of me, and I find myself in the same position as Steve Jobs when he was pushed out of Apple in 1985. Like Jobs, I’m not ready to quit on my career and I am already working on the next great way to impact and disrupt.
With change comes opportunity and I am more fired up than ever for what my life has in store. I promise to be be more wild, crazy and authentic than ever.
