LOVE Lake Tahoe

Who doesn’t love Lake Tahoe? Come on…everyone loves Tahoe.

That said, if you want to go to Tahoe, where should you go? If you don’t go up often it’s hard to know the best place for your lifestyle.

It depends…what are you looking for?

North Lake Tahoe is a bit more zen and South Lake is a bit more party…but both offer a bit of each. There are also amazing area’s like Grass Valley, Nevada City, Reno and Carson Valley which are a bit more affordable and still amazing…all great areas for a second home or retirement.

Those of you who follow me on social media know that I’ve been spending the last few weeks up in Tahoe. I’ve been golfing, hiking, enjoying the 4th of July with family & friends, checked out the Beer and Bluegrass Festival, art & wine festivals, the American Century Open at Edgewood, Blake Shelton at Harvey’s, and our favorite…Truckee Thursdays. I’ve also been networking, and getting the inside track on the region’s housing and investment market.

My son Tommy and I have been meeting with people from Rocklin to Grass Valley, to Truckee, Incline to Tahoe City... Carnelian Bay to South Lake…Tahoe Donner to Reno to Minden and Gardnerville. We now have the inside track.

Here is what we’ve heard. Pretty much across the board everyone said the entire region is solid. I wouldn’t say any one region is ON FIRE, but in all markets sellers are selling and buyers are buying…and there are some good deals out there for those with the inside track.

If you are interested in getting the inside track on the Sac/Tahoe/Reno market…or any market for that matter…just let me know. I don’t have all of the answers but I know people who do and can help.

Check out one of my favorite new spots in North Lake Tahoe/Truckee…Schaffer’s Mill. They sold 10 homes the week of July 4th alone! If you’re looking to do everything Tahoe has to offer, Schaffer’s Mill is a great option. It’s not stuffy at all, its super nice with first-class service…laid back luxury. I have played golf at Schaffer’s half a dozen times and met with the developer/staff a number of times as well. I have checked out their houses and all of their facilities…I am a fan. It’s Mountain Modern.

If you are interested in learning more, ping me or go to their website and check it out. I can set you up if you want to come up to check it out…and play some golf. I know they would love to have you.
